Running round London is not a favourite of mine, but at times my job means I have to, but it has meant that in the last year I can safely say I know London very well. I have discovered things in London that if I had an ordinary job I never would have found, this is not always a good thing.....
I had a couple of castings on my first day back, castings are basically like auditions. You go to meet the casting directors, photographers, stylists, basically anyone who could book you, and you show them your book and leave them with your card. A book is your portfolio and your card is basically a version of a business card but is about A5 size. The front of your card is your headshot and the back is 4 or 5 different shots with your details.
My outfit for day 1 back at the office....
Coat - Topshop (annoying its now in the sale)
Jeans - J Brand
Bag - Zara
Trainers - Zara
Headband.......not sure
Casting directors......do your worst.......
